Located in the magnificent countryside in Alentejo, two separate farmhouses which are known as “Montes” in the region occupy this quaint rural property. The largest house called “Monte Vehlo” can accommodate two families or up to six people and “Cassa da Palmeira” the second smaller house can accommodate a single family or up to four guest at any given time. There are also two beautiful beaches, Alteirinhnos and Carvalhal, reachable within 10 minutes of the property.

A perfect way to relax is to visit the vivid garden which makes up most of the property. You will be able to smell fragrances of blossoming flowers and herbs such as thyme, lavender and rosemary aromas.
On very warm days, the scenery is simply invigorating! Whether you are on the patio or on a terrace taking in the view, the calm atmosphere of the countryside will rejuvenate you.
These peaceful surroundings will allow you to take time to do relaxing activities like reading a good book or just enjoying a serene and calm atmosphere. If you are more of an adventurous type however, don´t forget to bring your binoculars along for a fascinating activity of bird watching.
The house is also available during the pleasantly mild winter months. Enjoy a cosy night in with a book or movie by the antique wood stove, or take a stroll on the many neighbouring pathways and take in the crisp fresh air.
